Gemara 2025 – A Journey of Faith and Service - 24/01/2025

Nagpur: "Gemara 2025," the annual three-day conference hosted at St. Thomas Orthodox Theological Seminary in Nagpur, India, from January 24th to 26th, by the MGOCSM & OCYM of the Hyderabad Region, Bangalore Diocese, provided a unique and immersive experience for attendees. The conference offered a glimpse into seminary life, with diverse activities, thought-provoking sessions led by seminary faculty, and deep immersion in the rhythms of Orthodox faith, including daily prayers, chants, namaskarams, and the sacred Holy Qurbana. Beyond spiritual enrichment, Gemara 2025 emphasized ‘Giving Back’, with a fundraising drive resulting in a generous INR 1,00,000 donation to support the Seminary and Prerna, a school for disabled children. The conference culminated in a spirited celebration of India's 76th Republic Day alongside the seminary community, fostering both a strong sense of fellowship and a deeper connection to Orthodox traditions, ultimately strengthening the bonds amongst young members of the Hyderabad MGOCSM & OCYM and making the conference a resounding success.
